Industrial Action!

Brother Gravelyblarg feels that the members of this forum are reaping the rewards of his posting here without making posts of their own. As such, he has now gone on strike!

His demands are:

"Something" to be placed in the hands of The Lansbury.

More posts from all members.


In a show of solidarity, I am going out on strike with him! Now, let's see what happens...

Should the rest of us join you two in a sympathy strike? We might end up with a week or two with no posts before someone wanders by!

Oh, and I spent the weekend watching Dutchmen dancing in wooden shoes and eating kraut, sausages, pannenkoeken, poffertjes and Stroopwafel...all here in Brazil! It felt like home (I don't live in Holland, but we had a Dutch town a few miles away from where we lived, so I grew up with Vandryaughts, Van Dykes and Zenders).

But what sort of stunts? We could hold a raffle and let people beat HedgeCleft with a stick - lot's of people would jump at the chance. We could announce that you've signed a deal for a major motion picture about the Crevice, and that we are thinking of releasing Crevice of Guac as a PC game sometimes soon...that ought to get a few hundred pages of posts wouldn't it? Works elsewhere...

We are stunned that Hears, Adinanny (or any of the other members) have made no attempt to enter negotiations to end this strike. Furthermore, it is very clear that they have forgotten the history. As such, our demands have now altered to include:

Blarg demands that there is more purple - and that someone washes his towels for him.

I demand the immediate marriage of Starfish to myself!

I would like to bring to everyone's attention the mystery patch of color that appears to be embraced by Angelina Lainsingburger's arm.

It would appear that at one time, she WAS holding something, and that something was TAKEN AWAY from her. Whoever took it from her left traces of their heinous act behind, and for that... they should be punished.

Strangely I'm viewing the cheap(er) version of the site and not only can I not see the mystery patch of color on the Landsburger, but I can't see Landsburger at all!

Is the mystery patch of color purple?

As for negotiations to end the strike...I open and will see your ten.

It would almost appear that she used to hold the octopus' fez... or it was Angelina's fez and the octopus stole it.

Hears, Adinanny and Jermery have spent the last three hours begging Blarg and I to start reposting. Although the talks are continuing, I still feel that marrying Starfish is one of the issues that I cannot budge on.

Proxy Marriages I hear are legal in several Eastern European countries and the State of Utah.

If you don't mind your stand-in 'bride' not wearing white, Blarg might be able to whip up a smexy number from a pair of purple curtains and perhaps he can fly over and stand in for EveningStar!

Just plan a nice honeymoon or he'll pout and you KNOW how he can get.
