Public shows generally consist of:
- Archery stall - you can test your skill with a longbow or crossbow*
Weapon displays - the knights demonstrate the various (and surprising uses for different weapons, and what better way to do so that to use the audience as
victimsvolunteers for most weapons?
Armour that you may try on - well, maybe not a full suit (as that takes at least 30 minutes to put on), but enough for you to get the idea. Posing for photos is also something that we are happy to do!
Also: Mr Hears and Jermery plan to be at one of more performances this year!
11th September: Hanborough Show, Oxfordshire. Have-A-Go archery throughout whole event, but the scheduled times for weapon demonstrations and Hears humiliation has now been confirmed as 2:30 and a repeat at 3:30. Hears, Adinanny and Jermery are all expected to be there - will you?
12th September: Wantage Heritage Day, Wantage, Oxfordshire. There will be a weapons demonstration at 11:30am and 3:30pm, but we will be roving the town centre harrassing passersby throughout. Event details are still under discussion.
24th April 2011: St. George's Faire, Cambridge. Details to be confirmed.
This list will be regularly updated.
*Depending upon the requirements of the organisers, there may be a charge for this. In addition, the crossbow may not always be available in accordance to UK Law.
