I am beloved of the Guac!

ADMIN EDIT- Theultimatefish posts in threads that are about to be deleted!

This forum is most pleasing to the eye. I even took the time to register with my own previous iratA account instead of the silly serious username on the new one.

I have to ask though. I use forumotion as well, and those smileys are not standard. How did you do that? Mad

Me and Jonathan spent a lot of time working on the visual morale of the forum! Due to how amazing we are, we cannot disclose trade secrets. All I can say is you're not looking hard enough as it's a very obvious part of the Display tab.

And I'm sorry, but I posted a thread in the welcome section as well, but as you are welcoming me here, it feels like a duplicate.

Shocked

Linda Thomas Barker (born 6 October 1961 in Clayton, Bradford, Yorkshire) is an English interior designer and television presenter.
Barker studied Fine Arts at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design. She then did odd jobs in various areas including fashion, before settling into a career as an interior designer. An accomplished painter, she did up her flat in Battersea and was the subject of a House Beautiful magazine spread on interiors.
This led to work in television as a set designer, where she met her husband. It was at this time she was one of the group of people (including Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen) approached by the BBC in 1994 to work on a television show called Changing Rooms as one of the designers. During this time Barker also started co-presenting House Invaders in 1999, and co-presented a three-part special called Planet Christmas in 2001. After six years of Changing Rooms, restricted by the BBC's position on commercial endorsement and disappointed to be overlooked as a replacement presenter to Carol Smillie, she agreed to leave Changing Rooms.
Barker launched her more commercially focused career by accepting an invitation in 2002 to appear in the second series of the ITV1 show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, on which she finished in third place on the final day, and became Queen of the Jungle.
Barker adopted a new personal image, being featured in lads' magazine shoots and making a yoga DVD. Commercially, she designed and advertised sofas for dfs and cabins for Thomson Holidays. She also brought out her own wallpaper range with Crown. She began presenting series for ITV, including With A Little Help From My Friends, Building the Dream and a daytime lifestyle series, Under Construction.
In 2007 Barker took part in the children's CBBC show Hider in the House, as the hidden celebrity.
Barker also appeared on a celebrity edition of Come Dine With Me, aired on 17 September 2008, alongside Peter Stringfellow, Michelle Heaton and Lee Ryan. Linda finished in joint first place with Ryan, both of whom scored 26 points.
Today Barker writes, publishes design books and writes her column for the weekend Daily Express magazine.
In 2009, Barker joined the design team on popular ITV daytime series 60 Minute Makeover.
She is married to TV executive Chris Short, and the couple have a daughter and two dogs. The family currently lives in Forest Hill in South London, and have holiday homes in Yorkshire and St Tropez, France.

Haha, it always annoys people when you don't know some famous celebrity. Tongue Out

Just another question. What is 'My shoes tremble with delight' supposed to be censoring?

Ha ha the f-word is replaced with 'love'. Hilarious.

Loving is not censored by the way.

Codes such as those for smilies do not currently work in the filter. In the testing stages, Aiaiaiaidaiaian and Hears wanted the censored words to go bold, but it just showed up the [B] code in your post, instead of changing it!

I don't know about smilies, but I imagine it would be the same Thumbs Down

Maybe you should try HTML tags. For example:
Code:
<b>Insert replacement text here</b>
Instead of:
Code:
[b]Insert replacement text here[/b]
And for the Mad:
Code:

I think the only way to fix that is to allow HTML.

I thought about doing that. But I noticed a lot of forums don't allow HTML, and if there is a reason behind that that applies here then I imagine it would be best not to. But I don't know what their reason is. If it's just a consistency thing then I might as well enable it.

Probably because you can do a lot more with HTML than BBCode.
