I think he (I assume it's a he...) would like to know how to make a recolorable texture, and how to get a car's lights to work.
Sounds like basically he knows nothing. Might be better if he starts with CS, learns the techniques and then tries a CTR. I'd suggest just nicely refering him to some good tutorials. Maybe have him do the basic ones to learn CS, then if he can tackle that offer one's on CTR. I'll be honest, if you don't have a good deal of time and patience I think it can be difficult to help someone with disabilities, not because they can't do it, but because I think it's better to give the time and patience to do a good job than to halfway through decide it's taking up too much time and is hard to communicate and to then just give up on him...does that make sense? Not doubting your willingness to help people, I just have seen other people with good intentions bite off more than they could chew in similar situations.
