As Hears has decided not to invite us to his party on the 27th June, we at the CoG have decided to host our own party over that WHOLE weekend.

There will be:

A cleft bouncy castle.
A large bouquet of flowers for Starfish.

This is the 5th party I have had to turn down because of this Geography Peak District trip

Trust me, if you're going to be there, we'll rent a flight of stairs just for the occasion! If you plan to operate the woodchipper, well, you are aware that the newest models require you to operate it from inside, aren't you?

Easiest way to get inside is to use the lovely set of rental stairs, just stand at the top and close your eyes and you will get a BIG surprise!

This afternoon, Our LORD And MASTER, SIR FROG told me that I am invited to this party. However, since I am having my own party on the Sunday, I might not be able to attend the CoG one for the full length of time.

Yes! We should also insist that all clefts wear white as to set off the red better.

@RedCleft! - You are in luck...our local staircase rental company has a lovely four story model in stock that can be painted in anyone of 16 designer colors. We'll include marking pens so you can draw your own designs on the inside...

What color exactly IS cleft blood anyways? I always assumed due the need for less oxygen going to their brain that it would probably be 'puce' or some such shade.

Anyone ever stick one of them to see? I generally don't get all that close to them since they aren't usually house trained.

Let profressor RedCleft help:

Blood turns red upon contact with the air becuase of a speacial protein. It is not the oxygen that makes it red.

Now if we look at RedCleft's Cleft formula: C = s^2 Where C= Colour and s = Height of stairs. So 4 stories^2 equals 16.

If we look at this table:

For a cleft to have 'red' blood, we will be required to fall off a 20 story stairs. And to have violet blood, 25 story stairs.

But I guess there is only one way to find out, bring me Xcleft.

Does it make a difference if we give them a big kick to start them down the stairs as opposed to, say, using a baseball bat?

If we only spring for a four story stairs will we have to settle for black and white rather than color?

One would assume that falling off a 4 story staircase would produce black or white, however it is probably more likely to create some nasty gamma radiation as it gets further down the spectrum.

This could probably be countered by a baseball bat or some other medium. F=ma so therefore if enough force is created, combined with the right height, colours should be achieved. A nice little passtime for the guests to experiment.

As long as there will be kicking, beating and general pummeling at this party I'll be happy. Wood chipper lack finesse...one quick shove down the stairs and after a half a dozen bounces they are ready for sausage casings.

What's the fun in that?
